Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting and month-end close across multiple entities. This role reports directly to the CFO and is ideal for a detail-oriented accountant who enjoys managing core accounting functions, improving processes, and working closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the monthly close process across multiple entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
- Maintain accurate general ledger and intercompany accounting
- Assist with cash management, AR/AP oversight, and working capital tracking
- Prepare monthly financial statements and support CFO reporting needs
- Coordinate with external CPA firm on tax filings and year-end close
- Help document and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial data
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close ownership
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience working with external CPAs
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience in multi-entity or operationally complex businesses
- Experience with inventory, fixed assets, or asset-heavy operations
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
