Join us at our first in person Coffee with the Chamber since 2020 with special guest,
MassHire GNB!
CEO Mike O'Sullivan, COO Rick Kidder and the Chamber staff will discuss upcoming events and answer your questions.
MassHire Greater New Bedford Workforce Board will be joining us to speak about a Free Intern Program available to area businesses.
The MassHire Greater New Bedford Career Center is now recruiting employer worksites for the 2023 YouthWorks Summer Employment Program. YouthWorks is a state-funded youth employment program that helps teens and young adults develop the knowledge and skills needed to obtain meaningful work experiences. Businesses within the SouthCoast serve as a host worksite for youth ages 14-25 for up to 7 weeks. Youth receive comprehensive career training and paid work experience at NO COST to the employer! MassHire Greater New Bedford Workforce Board completely subsidizes youth wages up to 20 hours a week for 7 week during the summer.
