Johnny Damon (born November 5, 1973, in Fort Riley, Kansas) is a retired professional baseball player, widely recognized for his successful career as an outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB). Damon played 18 seasons for several teams, including the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, and Cleveland Indians. Known for his speed, hitting ability, and charismatic personality, Damon was a two-time World Series champion, winning titles with the Red Sox (2004) and the Yankees (2009).
Throughout his career, Damon compiled over 2,700 hits, 235 home runs, and 1,139 RBIs. He was a two-time All-Star and also won a Silver Slugger Award. Damon was particularly celebrated for his contributions to the Red Sox's 2004 World Series victory, which ended Boston's 86-year championship drought.
After retiring from baseball in 2012, Damon transitioned into entrepreneurial ventures, including founding a clean hydration company called A-Game, which focuses on providing healthy, all-natural beverages aimed at promoting hydration and wellness. In addition to his business endeavors, Damon has remained involved in charitable activities and occasionally appears in media and promotional work.
