About Us

The Veterans Association of Bristol County (VABC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving veterans, active-duty service members, and their families throughout Bristol County, Massachusetts. Founded in 1987 by Vietnam veterans, VABC provides compassionate, comprehensive support that empowers veterans to lead healthier, more stable lives.

Programs and services include a food pantry, daily meals, clothing assistance, peer support groups, wellness programs, benefits navigation, emergency assistance, and referrals to community resources. VABC works closely with local businesses, healthcare providers, municipalities, and nonprofit partners to address food insecurity, housing, mental health, and other critical needs.

In addition to direct services, VABC strengthens the South Coast community through volunteer opportunities, educational programs, and collaborative partnerships. Businesses and community members are encouraged to support VABC through sponsorships, volunteerism, and charitable giving to help ensure every veteran has access to the resources and support they deserve.
