The SouthCoast Women's Forum is the ideal setting for leading business professionals, and aspiring women in business to connect, learn, and be inspired by other women! This unique event celebrates the accomplishments of women while motivating other women to follow their example.
Today's economic, cultural, social environments are constantly evolving and adapting to new technologies and ideas. Each generation depends on the other and it is vital to share efficient strategies from generation to generation in order to be well-rounded, successful and most importantly remain relevant in an ever-changing professional and business environment.

Our Keynote speaker for this event will be Secretary Rosalin Acosta.
As the newly appointed Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development, Rosalin Acosta was a widely respected financial and banking service professional. With over thirty years experience in Greater Boston financial institutions, and most recently as Senior Vice president and Managing Director for Enterprise Wealth Management at Enterprise Bank in Lowell where she oversaw the operation of Bank?s Wealth Management and Brokerage division since 2013.

WomEntrpeneurship and Business in New Bedford (WEB New Bedford) is the presenting sponsor of the Women?s Forum. As part of the GNB Work Investment Board, WEB New Bedford is a multi-partner effort to help New Bedford women start and grow their business in the city. The program will give women technical assistance through BCC courses, workshops from CEDC, EDC, and other partners as well as visits with other successful women entrepreneurs in the area. The 12 participants will complete business plans and have the opportunity to receive $1,000 in Seed Funding with successful completion of WEB New Bedford 2018.
