SouthCoast Women's Forum - 2013
Event Sponsors
This year's theme is "Innovate and Communicate" and will focus on women run and led businesses that have used innovation and communication to face and overcome the many challenges presented to them. The program will feature a panel of women business leaders and entrepreneurs discussing the challenges and opportunities with running their business.
In addition, the Women's Forum will feature an interactive exhibitor showcase for women-owned or women managed businesses to profile their services and products. Because space is limited, registrations for exhibitor spaces are on a first come, first served basis. Members interested in exhibiting are encouraged to reserve their tables early to ensure a spot. Our featured panelists will be:
- Carol C. Bulman, CEO, Jack Conway Company, Inc.
- Nicki Castonguay-Maher, Vice President of Charity by Design (CBD) for Alex and Ani, LLC

As Vice President of Charity by Design (CBD) for Alex and Ani, LLC, Nicki Castonguay-Maher spearheads the effort of fueling Carolyn Rafaelian?s passion for making dreams of charitable organizations come true by sharing positive energy through innovative and creative design. Under Castonguay-Maher?s direction, the department exceeded $3 million in donations to 26 nonprofit organizations nationwide since the department?s 2011 inception.
The SouthCoast Women's Forum offers an opportunity to network before, during and after the luncheon program. Registration, networking and exhibitor booth viewing ill start at 11 a.m. The luncheon program will start at noon, but we encourage guests to arrive early for networking and to visit the exhibitors and sponsors. And be sure to arrive early to be eligible to win one of the wonderful door prizes and interact with the many exhibitors.
Multiple sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available! Showcase your service and products before and after the speaking program with a table top exhibit!
PROFESSIONAL CLOTHING DONATIONS NEEDED
The Women's Forum will host a collection of professional women's attire to be donated to Hetty's Thrift Shoppe, located at Child & Family Services (1061 Pleasant St., New Bedford). Clothing will be donated to women who are finishing training programs and interviewing for work, who do not have appropriate professional attire.
