SouthCoast Alliance to host Gubernatorial Debate

Baker & Coakley to Address Issues That Impact the SouthCoast

The New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring the SouthCoast Alliance Gubernatorial Debate scheduled for Friday, October 17, 2014 in the main auditorium at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, located at 285 Old Westport Road, Dartmouth. 

Republican candidate Charlie Baker and Democratic candidate Martha Coakley are both confirmed to participate. Attendees must be there and seated by 3:30 p.m., as the debate will begin promptly at 4 p.m. Professor Shannon Jenkins, Chair of the Political Science Department at the university will moderate the debate. The debate is free and the public is invited to attend.
