Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Join us March 15, 2022 at 9:00 am for a virtual, interactive seminar featuring experts who will break down DEI in the workplace.
The MA Supplier Diversity Office will introduce the State Certification Process and Supplier Diversity Spending Programs for small and diverse businesses. These opportunities are created to serve minorities, women, Portuguese, veterans, service-disabled veterans, those with a disability, and LGBT individuals.

Speakers:
Robert Clark Williams, Jr.
Director of Diverse and Small Business Engagement, Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Supplier Diversity Office (SDO).
Robert is responsible for the outreach and engagement of certified business owners into the Commonwealth supply chain and COMMBUYS marketplace. Mr. Williams represents and leads the Commonwealth's state-wide agency efforts to engage and provide procurement and technical assistance resources across the Commonwealth to Diverse and Small Business owners located primarily in Gateway Cities and Minority & Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MBE/DBE) communities across the Commonwealth. Mr. Williams is a former Loan Officer, Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC). Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation is a quasi-state agency located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Williams brings a wealth of experience as a former Business Banker at Santander Bank and Vice- President and Client Manager for the Premier Middle Market segment at Bank of America's Government and Municipal Banking Group.

Director, Diverse and Small Business Certification,
Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office
Director of Diverse and Small Business Certification Program for the MA Commonwealth's Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). She has over (25) years of experience in the private and public sector.
For the past (15) years she has advocated for minority, women, veteran owned and disadvantaged businesses for equity and inclusion opportunities and currently oversees the SDO certifications for both statewide and out of state businesses.
As, SDO Director, she has developed, and implemented policies and procedures to increase opportunities for our diverse community. She has managed and solve complex obstacles in the private and public sectors through consulting clients and training presentations. She also assisted with the integration of the online application process with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Third-Party Organizations such as Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and Greater New England Supplier Diversity Minority Council (GNESDMC).
In her free time, she has volunteered in Natal, Brazil at www.valivre.org at a non-profit organization and also for the Chica Project Program (mentoring program for teenage Latinas). Wanda loves Bikram yoga, gardening, paddle boarding with friends and Zoom family gatherings.
