MA Sick Leave Ballot Measure Workshop
The results of the November 4, 2014 elections changed, yet again, your compliance obligations as an employer. The new reality in Massachusetts is that all employers must provide either paid or unpaid sick time depending upon the size of your workforce. The Commonwealths’ Attorney General will monitor and enforce the law.
This workshop will be conducted by Attorney Timothy G. Kenneally from the law firm Foley & Foley, PC, the sponsor of the Southcoast Human Resource Council. Attorney Kenneally will explain the new sick leave law and will provide a fast paced review of other important compliance obligations. This program will help your company significantly reduce HR-related risk.
Attorney Kenneally has work for Foley & Foley PC since March, 2008. Prior thereto, he worked for Healy and Healy, PC for fifteen (15) years. His practice involves the representation of clients in matters involving employment and labor law, insurance, contracts and litigation. Attorney Kenneally has successfully resolved hundreds of cases in the state and federal courts, at the MCAD, at the EEOC and before other administrative agencies.
