The February edition of Good Morning SouthCoast! will focus on Off Shore Wind and the effects it will have on both residents and the business community. A panel of experts and professionals will discuss Off Shore Wind, answer questions, and offer vital information on this new form of renewable energy coming to the SouthCoast region.
The Panel will include:
• Paul Vigeant, managing director of the New Bedford Wind Energy Center;
• Derek Santos, executive director of the New Bedford Economic Development Council;
• Ed Anthes-Washburn, Director of the Port of New Bedford
• Matthew Morrissey, Massachusetts vice president for Deepwater Wind, one of three developers looking to build wind farms south of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
•Michael J. Ausere, V.P., Business Development, Eversource
Off Shore Wind is here and it is our responsibility to education and inform the region on this innovative new source of energy that will effect our futures economically, professionally and personally.
