Chamber Trip to Porto, Portugal
(New Bedford, MA) The New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce announced today that it is offering a trip to Porto, Portugal, in September, 2015 for members of the organization and their friends and families.
The nine-day, eight-night trip runs from September 11 - 19th of 2015. The trip is priced at $2,749 per person double occupancy and includes round-trip international airfare from Logan International Airport, 4 Star Hotel accommodations, three full-day sightseeing tours of Minho, Guimarães, Braga, Moncão, Viana do Castelo and a tour of the Douro River Valley (all full day tours include lunch). Visits to a family-owned winery as well as private port wine tastings are also included in this package. The itinerary also includes a half day tour of the city of Porto and a short river cruise on a traditional “rebelo” boat. All tours include English-speaking tour guides. Buffet breakfast provided daily.
Price is based on double occupancy. A $500 per person deposit is due at the time of registration and is included in the total fare. The trip balance is due on or before June 19, 2015 (90 days prior to departure). A valid passport is required. Travelers may obtain optional cancellation waiver and insurance for an additional cost. Optional extensions and single supplements are also available.
