DESCRIPTION:The SouthCoast Electric Power Group (SCEPG) was formed in 2002 to help manufacturers and other commercial users aggregate (combine) electric loads and contract for the purchase of electric power from providers. Members of the group are able to negotiate lower costs for electricity. \n\n	\n\n	The meeting for members of the SouthCoast Electric Power Group scheduled for Thursday\, September 15\, 2011 has been canceled. The steering committee met recently and decided to reschedule the meeting to early January\, after the Hurricane season\, to better evaluate future hedging activity\, as well as to start the RFP process for the next contract for an energy supplier for the group. We will notify you of the new date when it becomes available.
