DESCRIPTION:This special breakfast program is not a typical Chamber event\; instead\, we've created a high-profile\, fast-paced and educational breakfast program specifically geared towards executives\, senior managers\, professionals\, decision makers and other business people in the community.  Good Morning SouthCoast! is one of the Chamber's most anticipated events due to the diverse topics discussed and the vital information they offer to the business community and residents alike.\n\n\n\nEducation is on of our most valuable economic tools and it is important the business community and leaders are aware of how the future workforce is being prepare for employment!  Don't miss the opportunity to get involved and learn how students are being transformed into a motivated\, intelligent  and dynamic workforce!  \n\n\n\n\n\nThe June Good Morning SouthCoast will feature Mr. Thomas Anderson\, the incoming Superintendent of the New Bedford Public Schools as one of  the Keynote speakers.\n\n\n\nCome hear from Mr. Thomas discuss his vision and goals for the New Bedford Public School System as he meets our local business community! \n\n\n\n  \n\nMr. Thomas Anderson\n\n\n\nThomas Anderson is a native of East Hartford\, CT\, where he started his teaching career. Most of his 15 years as an administrator was spent in Montgomery\, County\, MD a system of 150\,000 students\, where he taught\, and was an assistant principal and principal in schools with populations of nearly 2\,000 students. He also spent time in Chicago\, IL\, where he was the founding principal and Executive Director of a middle/high charter school.
