Brahmin Leather Works was the entrepreneurial dream of Joan and Bill Martin who started the company in 1982. The name Brahmin was used in Boston in the 1800s to describe a cultured person from an established upper-class family\, and was chosen by the Martin family because they aspired to create a handbag to meet the discerning taste of a Brahmin. The Martin family members remain involved with the brand and are committed to designing and creating handbags that define timeless style. Brahmin is teamed with skilled and trained crafts people in partnership with an energetic\, knowledgeable sales staff across the country. Brahmin continues to produce classically beautiful\, functional handbags that are of the highest quality for today's woman.\n\n\n\nSeats are limited to 20-25 members of the SCYPN.
