DESCRIPTION:The SouthCoast Young Professionals Network will host their next installment of the CEO Unplugged series on June 27\, 2014 from 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at the New Bedford Area Chamber office located at 794 Purchase Street\, New Bedford\, MA.\n\n\n\nThe SCYPN's CEO Unplugged series is held quarterly and provides young professionals with an opportunity to connect with and learn from successful local CEOs. Aimed to be a source of inspiration and a wealth of knowledge\, the CEOs share their personal experiences and journey to success with the participants in an informal\, small group setting.\n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker - Patrick Murray\, CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank\n\nAs Bristol County Savings Bank's President and CEO\, Patrick J. Murray Jr. is an exemplary leader in the finance industry and our community.\n\n\n\nIn his 28 year tenure at Bristol County Savings Banks\, he has worked as Executive Vice President & COO\, Chief Financial Officer\, Treasurer\, and Controller.  Murray also worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Wolf & Company for three years.\n\n\n\nAn active member of our community\, Murray is on the Board of Directors and a past president with the Anawon Council Boy Scouts of America\, Board of Trustees and Immediate past chair of the Bristol Community College Foundation\,  Board of Trustees of Care New England\, Board of Directors & Past Chairman United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton \, Corporator at the  Hockomock and Attleboro YMCA\, Director & Treasurer  at the Taunton Business Improvement District\, Inc.\,   Director & Treasurer at the Downtown Taunton Foundation\, Inc.\, and a member of the Rotary Club of Taunton.\n\n\n\nIn the past Murray has been involved with Community Care Services Inc.\, Southern New England Heart Walk for the American Heart Association\, Hear of Taunton\, Morton Hospital & Medical Center\, Old Colony YMCA\, the Taunton Kiwanis Club\, Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island\, and Bridgewater Youth Soccer Association.\n\nMurray received his BS in Accountancy at Bentley College and attended the National School of Banking at Fairfield University.\n\n\n\nHe currently resides in Bridgewater with his wife\, Michele. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is free for SCYPN Members but registration is required as seats are limited to 15-20 members of the SCYPN.
