SUMMARY:CEO Unplugged - Lara Harrington - Owner\, Boutique Fitness
DESCRIPTION:The SouthCoast Young Professionals Network will host their next installment of the CEO Unplugged series on December 6\, 2013 from 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at Boutique Fitness\, located at 516 Pleasant St.\, #104\, New Bedford\, MA.\n\n\n\nThe SCYPN's CEO Unplugged series is held quarterly and provides young professionals with an opportunity to connect with and learn from successful local CEOs. Aimed to be a source of inspiration and a wealth of knowledge\, the CEOs share their personal experiences and journey to success with the participants in an informal\, small group setting.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker\n\n\n	As a first generation American\, Lara was raised to be nice and work hard. Originally from Taunton she pursued a fine arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art\, obtaining her BFA in 2000. In 2001 she unexpectedly found herself in New Bedford among a growing community of artists & small business owners.\n\n	At 25 years old she battled a bizarre case of joint inflammation that led to her hiring a personal trainer\, dissolving her art studio\, and eventually delving into the fitness industry herself. By 2006 she was a certified fitness trainer and working at an elite training facility in Rhode Island\, where she quickly became lead trainer and team manager. After almost 6 years in a leadership role she recognized that it was the perfect time to take root in her own town and open up Boutique Fitness. \n\n	Recruiting the help of her long time friend\, Angela Corrieri-Johnson\, the quaint training facility in downtown New Bedford was established in January\, 2012. "We take the most pride in our services. We earn the trust of our clients and we help them reach personal goals that would otherwise be neglected. We are changing lives in the Southcoast and we get to be a part of this incredible community of small businesses. It doesn't get much better than that." - Lara\n\n	\n\n \nThis event is free for SCYPN Members but registration is required as seats are limited to 15-20 members of the SCYPN.
