SUMMARY:2013 STEP Grant Program Regional Briefing
DESCRIPTION:Massachusetts Office of International Trade & Investment (MOITI) to award grants to small businesses through the State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) grant program.\n\n	 \n\n	\n		The STEP grant program offers financial assistance to eligible Massachusetts small businesses seeking new increased export sales of their goods and services.\n	\n		The grant program is intended to help offset international business development and related marketing costs for small businesses.\n	\n		Grants under the STEP Program will be capped at $10\,000 per business to reimburse for costs associated with projects\, activities or services undertaken during the period September 30\, 2012 to September 30\, 2013.\n	\n		Each grant recipient will be required to provide a match to cover 25% of the total approved cost for any project\, activity or service.\n\n\n	\n\n	MOITI will accept submissions for consideration during the following two application periods:\n\n	\n		November 30\, 2012 - February 28\, 2013\n	\n		March 1\, 2013 - May 30\, 2013\n\n\n	\n\n	Representatives from MOITI\, the Massachusetts Export Center\, and the SBA will be in attendance.
